Prior to every APD evaluation, your child will receive a comprehensive hearing evaluation in order to rule out hearing loss or middle ear pathology that may be contributing to listening problems. 

The audiologist will conduct a battery of specialized tests to target the central nervous system. These tests are designed to tap into the central auditory processes and are the primary way to make an APD diagnosis. 

If your child is diagnosed with an APD, a therapy program can be created based on their individual diagnostic profile type. Our goal is to provide an effective management program tailored to your child's specific needs.
